It was a rainy start of the week and good thing that it eventually settled in the late afternoon. Instead of doing my usual jog or walk, I prepared some of my Venus Fly Traps and moved them into new containers. They will be ready for selling in the coming weeks. I also started sorting things inside the garage so we can keep our car there because at the moment, we have a lot of household items dumped in there. We need to free the space as summer approaches and we don't want our car to be under the extreme heat of the sun during the day.
This is suman, a Filipino snack made from glutinous rice and coconut milk. What you see in the photo is just one kind of suman. As the Philippines have different regions, these regions have their own variety of this dish. For this particular dish, it is dipped in caramel sauce (made from coconut milk and sugar) and is perfectly matched with coffee or hot chocolate.
