Looking after albums which made groups or artists popular. NSYNC actually found success on their self-titled first album, but "No Strings Attached", their second album was considered as the record that made them superstars. Of course, "NSYNC" album was a Diamond certified in America, and so is "Strings". But the latter was known for being sold more than 2.4 million copies in one week across America. That's the fastes seller for more than a decade, which was surpassed by the loveable Adele.
"No Strings Attached" is also the album which gave NSYNC their first number 1 hit and three top 5 hit songs, including their signature hit "Bye Bye Bye". Momentum could've been extended if they had promoted and released more singles. That way, the album might've sold more. Only three official singles are released in the US, as "I'll Never Stop" was released in selected countries only. One of the highlights from the album is "Space Cowboy" which also featured Left Eye of TLC. If it was released, and given a remix version, it might become a hit. But it seems NSYNC is trying to maintain their stature by recording their follow up album at the time, which is potentially another big record.
One of the track from the album, the R&B tune "It Makes Me Ill" is also a potential hit single from the album, if given a chance to be promoted. The track was recently interpolated on the hit song "Break Up With You Girlfriend, I'm Bored" by Ariana Grande. The title track can also be a hit on its time. But it seems the recording label, and the group has been fine on the album's performance.
