You might be surprised and confused to see some different ways of fighting. When you see something new or something that you have never seen before, you are interested to know that.

Maybe you love jogging. That's a good exercise. You can add jogging in your exercise routine. But how about jogging and fighting?

Let's talk about whether you can do jogging and fighting in real life for self defense. In a normal situation, you will not do that. You usually do not fight with trained fighters. Bad guys can have weapons but they might not be well-trained fighters.

You can use different strategies when you fight for self defense. And what works for you in one situation, that might not work in another situation. There are some exceptional situations when you can incorporate jogging in your fighting.

Suppose, the guy you are fighting is a very good fighter. A good fighter knows it very well how to keep the distance in a fight and use it to attack and defense. You are trying to get close to the attacker in order to strike, but the attacker moves away and you are not able to hit him.

You can use this tactic in that situation. When you are jogging, you are moving. You are not standing at the same place or even if you stand, you move up and down, side to side.

When we see a moving object and suddenly it comes forward, it is difficult to detect that quickly because it is moving consistently. So you can do jogging and suddenly get close to the attack to strike. The attacker will find it difficult to detect that instantly. And you can hit him.

You need to use this tactic wisely. There are some downsides to jogging in a fight as well. If you keep jogging, you will lose your stamina. You might get out of breath. So you have to pay attention to that. And use this as your advantage to penetrate the attacker's defense and make your move.
