Hello everybody and thanks for stopping by!
We stayed up way too late last night so consequently, getting up early wasn’t in the cards for me today. I had planned to finish taxes, but that didn’t happen either.
After morning coffee, we began working on the set of music for next Sunday’s worship. We aren’t broadcasting from home as previously done. It will be nice to worship together with a live congregation. It’s been a long time!
2:30 rolled around and it was time to go hiking. We met Jan and headed out.
It is snail season and I was not disappointed in today’s finds.
This little 4 year old was my first find of the hike. All of the snails today appear to be the same species as their shells all look the same pretty much. I also found another very close to this one but he’d been injured and although still alive, was missing part of his shell on one side at the opening. I’m not sure if he will survive that way or not. I didn’t take his picture.
Later on up the trail, here was snail baby #2.
He was 5 years old. I did move home as he was in an intersection of the trail and was at risk of being stepped on.
On the way back was another snail baby who was also 5 years old.
Nice antenna you have there!🐌
We returned home and had an after hike mocha and latte. A nice little bit of relaxation before going into the evening routine.
Here in a little while, it will be dinner time and into the last stretch of the evening.
Happy Mother’s Day early to all you moms out there! 🌼
That’s gonna be it for now. @actifit-lamb has jumped up on the keyboard singing ‘get those hooves movin’!’ Got any ear plugs? 🤪
