Manchester United are trying to offer Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho for Denmark's Christian Eriksen in January.
Eriksen's contract with Tottenham expires at the end of the season and could leave for free next summer, but Manchester United are looking for his services in the winter transfer window.
According to the newspaper "Mirror", Manchester United is seeking to offer Serbian player Nemanja Matic to Spurs, in exchange for Eriksen.
Eriksen is determined to leave Tottenham and not renew his contract, despite the arrival of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho to the Spurs.
The report pointed out that Manchester United's consideration of Matic's offer to Tottenham, in order to tempt Mourinho, who favors the Serbian midfielder, where he was asked to join him before the Red Devils from Chelsea.
Eriksen's name has been linked to a move to Real Madrid, but the Royal did not resolve the deal at Mercato last summer, and Matic has two offers from the two poles of Milan, if he does not want to stay in the Premier League.
